Generous dishes, rich flavors

Argolida is famous for its traditional dishes with their rich taste from the local products of the Argolic land. During your stay in the prefecture, you can taste local delicacies with meat or fish as the main ingredient, and dishes of excellent quality in one of the taverns and restaurants. Very good quality ouzo is the one produced by Karoni distillery in Nafplion and honey that you will find from local producers. When leaving, we strongly recommend you to buy the best products of the area, such as olive oil, honey, citrus fruits, ouzo and handmade pasta.

Through the half-day hiking tour to the most beautiful sites of the Old city of Nafplio we discover hidden culinary treasures along with our tour of the city sights.

This 3-hours culinary excursion of Nafplio takes us to a carefully selected shops, where we taste some of the finest cheeses, wines, coffees and ice creams available in the city. At the same time we visit the most famous monuments of the city, such as the Catholic church, the square of St. Spiridon, the square of Saint George square and the Old City, which introduce us to the long and wonderful history of the city.

Greek honey & ouzo

In this excursion, we learn all the secrets of beekeeping and ouzo. We visit a traditional honey production unit, we safely walk through beautiful flowered landscapes in order to meet and admire the magical world of the bees in their natural environment and we taste unique Greek varieties of honey.

Afterwards, we enter the enchanting world of the unique Greek Ouzo and Tsipouro. We visit the place of production of these traditional drinks, we learn their history, their peculiarities and admire the distillery museum. At the end of this heady journey, we can experience the taste of traditional local beverages of ouzo, tsipouro and various local liqueurs, accompanied with Greek traditional dishes.


Olive oil tour from Nafplio

Olive oil is the basis of the Mediterranean food chain, which has been proved to be a model of a healthy diet and longevity. Since ancient times, the Greeks have been involved with the cultivation of olives and the production of olive oil.

The optimal time to perform this unique trip is the harvest season, from mid-October to mid-January every year, where we have the oppotrtunity to collect the fruits of a tree and to turn them into pure olive oil and furthermore to produce our own edible olives in order to take them with us.

Argolis is a place rich in olive trees and olive oil production. On this half-day journey of olive, we learn all the secrets of this holy tree from prehistory until today and we taste fresh olive oil and various olive derivatives accompanied by delicious Greek dishes.

Wine tour in Nemea from Nafplio

On this daily trip of wine, we visit the endless vineyards of Nemea, the place where Hercules killed the lion and performed the first of his 12 labors, and we learn the secrets of wine and winemaking.

We visit a winery of the region and a traditional vinegar production unit and we taste unique varieties of wine, accompanied by Greek dishes. We meet their producers and we discuss the details of winemaking.

Unique pictures, divine flavours and aromas will remain indelibly etched in our minds for many years after this unique experience.

In this excursion we enter in the sanctuaries of the Greek cuisine and we cook Greek traditional recipes. Either you are a professional chef or you are just fond of the art of cooking and good food, having as your mentor our experienced local chef, you will get to know the Greek gastronomy.

At first, we head towards a beautiful scenic place where, with the guidance and assistance of our experienced local chef, who shows traditional recipes, we are taught the art of the Greek cuisine and we prepare traditional Greek food, using pure and fresh ingredients of the Argolic land.
